Here is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 body structure and airbags.
A system of interconnected elements work together to help protect the occupants in a collision. High-strength/low-alloy (HSLA) and ultra-high-strength steel are used in critical areas such as the roof pillars, floor and roof crossmembers, door beams and various reinforcements throughout the body. Advanced front and rear crumple zones deform progressively to help absorb the energy of an impact, while the front bulkhead helps channel some impact forces under, over, and around the cabin.
10-way air bag protection
An advanced system of 8 air bags offers 10-way occupant protection. Dual two-stage front air bags, front side-impact head/torso air bags, dual front knee air bags, and side curtain air bags for both seating rows are standard.
