For me (Smitty) the guy behind Boron Extrication, 2014 turned out to be a great year. In April, I was honored to teach at FDIC for the HOT Extrication classes.

I talk with many rescue instructors like Eric Rickenbach and David Dalrymple often how important the EMS aspect of extrication is. After all, the patient, not the vehicle, is the whole reason we are there. If you are heading to FDIC this year I would check out the EMS Aspects of Extrication workshop

An extrication instructor and no small name in Extrication Circles, Eric J. Rickenbach wrote an article called A New Twist to SRS: The Door Mounted Curtain Airbag for Moditech. Rickenbach provides some very good information and Moditech's Crash Rocovery System (CRS) provided some very useful images.
