Weber Rescue Tips and Tricks: Roof Sectioning

Here’s a quick tip from Weber Rescue.  Now before you ask why not just remove the entire.  Let’s look into the background of this technique.   The school of thought is  you have 2 cuts in reinforced material, and 2 cuts in soft.  If you were to remove the entire roof there are 6 cuts in reinforced material, the windshield needs to be cut out and glass management on all the windows.


One side note:  when you cut the B-Pillar in the center instead of the top and bottom there is usually more material to cut thru.
